StratAIM training grenades, also known as "simunition" or "sim" grenades and StratAIM airsoft BB training grenades, are specialized training devices that simulate the effects of live grenades in a safe and controlled environment. These grenades are used by military, law enforcement personnel and airsoft enthusiasts to practice and train for real-world scenarios, such as room clearing and close-quarters combat. The basic design of the StratAIM training grenade is similar to that of a live grenade, with a metal body that contains a primer, a propelling charge, and a projectile. However, instead of a high-explosive fill, StratAIM training grenades contain a special marking powder or BBs (small plastic pellets) that are expelled upon detonation.
